The Short Version:
Online Breeder will be a Ball (Royal) Python breeding game.
The Longer Version:
Online Breeder will be a Ball Python breeding game. You will start with just a handful of money, and you will need to purchase vivariums, supplies, feed for your snakes, take them to the vet if the become sick and much more. Slowly, as you progress, you will be able to rent extra room where you can keep more reptiles, hire staff to take care of things and end up with your very own ball python emporium - do you think you have got what it takes?
It is really hard to say. However the current approximation is in the late spring 2012. If you would like to receive news about the Beta, release dates and the like, then simply subscribe to the mailing list using the above form. I will also regularly post announcements and progression updates via the Online Breeder Facebook Page.
Yes! It will be completely, 100% free to play. However there will be an opportunity to upgrade your free account to a supporter account, but more information about this will be available once we are getting near Beta.
If you want to increase your chances of getting in to one, or more, of the testing phases or even the Beta, then sign up using the form at the top of this page and you will receive news about upcoming testing phases, Beta and like. If you refer others who then subscribe, you will further increase you chances and you might even get an invite to try it out before anyone else!
This is not 100% settled yet however, I can already say now that Online Breeder will not be a fast phased game. But do not worry there will be plenty of other things you can do other than just breeding, but more information about this will be available once the core functionality of the game is more complete.
Yes it has, it was initially a learning project about a year ago which actually ended up becoming quite big. However, due to lack of programming experience and personal issues, I was forced to discontinue development. This time however, it's a whole different ballgame (no phun intended)!
Directly involved in this project there are just 1 (one). However, there are several people contributing with graphics, Ball Python knowledge and more.
In that case why don't you join the Facebook Page and post a comment on the wall, and I will answer it as quickly as I can!
